| Uncontrolled Intersections |

| Intersections without signs or traffic signals are called uncontrolled intersections. At an uncontrolled intersection, you should come to a complete stop and yield to the vehicle on the right. If there is a vehicle already in the intersection, that vehicle has the right-of-way, even if it is to your left. |

| If you are on a private road, driveway, or alley and want to enter, cross, or turn onto a road, then you must yield the right-of-way to vehicles already on that road. |

| Move to the right lane, after signaling if safe. |

| Put your turn signal on about 100 feet (31 m) from the place where you want to turn. If there is a driveway between you and where you want to turn, wait until you have passed the driveway before signaling. Otherwise, people might think you are turning into the driveway. |

| Look both ways for traffic and people crossing. |
